But here’s the good news: CFM is built to weather these storms. For almost 15 years, we have been building a local food system that is strong, interconnected, and resilient.

In response to SNAP cuts, CFM is providing free, fresh food purchased directly from our farmers to families in need at all of our markets and at Title I schools. This program costs about $1,500 per market, and thanks to you, we have already distributed over 40,000 lbs of fresh food this year alone.

In 2025, together we:
Hosted 170 outdoor markets and 60 pop-up markets across the city
Welcomed 200,000+ market attendees
Generated $2.86 million in sales for local farmers and small businesses
Provided $44,000+ in SNAP match
Distributed 40,000 lbs of free produce
Served 918 free meals made with local ingredients through our Drawdown Georgia partnership
Provided 230 educational chef demos
Taught 52 outreach classes and participated in 157 community events, reaching more than 8,000 neighbors
