Decatur won the $10,000 Neighborhood Challenge award. Decatur can do it again in 2008! ING requires that the money go to a non-profit organization to support sports and fitness programs. Decatur will give the check to the Decatur Education Foundation to use to support the good work of Athletic Director Carter Wilson and the Decatur Bulldog Athletic Booster Club.
Make plans now to be a part of the cheering section or the hydration stations for the ING Georgia Marathon. Decatur’s official cheering section will be in Fellini’s parking lot across from the Ice House Lofts.
